Walking the Streets
It was around noon with the sun high in the sky with a slight breeze blowing from the west. Travis was looking up at the sky watching the clouds as he drank his milk shake he had gotten from the ice cream shop. Butter finger milkshake it was his favorite one out all the ones they served. Travis watched as one of the clouds looked a lot like the king of Yamimakai card he had gotten out of his last booster pack he bought. He didn't have to think twice before he added it to his deck. The king of Yamimakai was a powerful monster and he knew that it would come in handy, but he also knew that his deck was no were near complete. He still had a lot of work to do before he was ready for any real dueling in tournaments and thing.
After finishing his milkshake travis got up and walked over and threw the now empty cup into the trash can. He started to walk down the street with the wind blowing in his hair, and blowing his trench coat behind him as he walked. If the duel disk on his left arm didn't give it away then the duel deck on the left side of his belt would defiantly tell people he was a duelist. Travis had gotten quit a few cards and increased the strength of his deck a good amount, but they only way to find out were he stood would be to duel someone. Travis would walk down the street looking for others with a duel disk, and maybe challenge them to a friendly duel. He would also watch out knowing that their was Rare Hunters in the area, so not to challenge one of them. He didn't want to loose one of his rare cards to one of them. They normally had really powerful decks packed full of rare cards, and travis didn't think he was ready to deal with them yet, so he would keep his eyes out and avoid them for now.
While walking down the street travis noticed that the streets wasn't all to busty today. He figured that with it being noon that most people was either at work or school. He had laid out of school today, and didn't tell his grandparents. Who thought that he was at school at the moment, but today was just to nice of a day to spend inside learning about history and math. He wanted to get in some dueling today, and the best time to do that is when he was in school he figured.

Re: Walking the Streets
Little Did Travis know, he was followed into Southern Keiritsu, by none other then Spike King, his specific Duel disk gave away who he was, if anyone who tried to get into the Shadow Kingdom Tourney, and even followed it to the end to see who won, the rumors of his Win over the UDC Keiritsu department head, Taika, the Summoner of Ra also quickly spread, so If the kid ever caught site of him, there was a good chance he knew who Spike was.

Re: Walking the Streets
Travis was walking around the streets and with out realizing it had found his way into south Keiritsu. Travis didn't mean to head that way, but with how nice of a day it was and with looking for other duelist he didn't pay much attention to the way he was going. Travis started to make a turn and out of the corner of his eye he saw someone that looked familiar, so he stopped and turned his head to see who it was.
When he turned to look he saw spike. He instantly recognized him from duelist kingdom. Travis wanted to enter duelist kingdom but he was to young to go last time. But now he was planning on entering this years duelist kingdom tournament. Travis figured that the best person to talk to and maybe get a practice duel against would be spike.
Travis turned his hole body around and started to walk to spike. When he got around five feet from him he would say. “Your spike, right from duelist kingdom” travis would wait for an answer.

Re: Walking the Streets
"IT was Shadow kingdom, But yes, I am Spike KIng, the Summoner of Slifer the Sky Dragon, what can I do for you, Are you looking for a duel? I could use a warm up" This was the nice spike talking, the darker side was suppressed due to this kid not seeming that impressive to him, and he would just shrug the kid off for the most part, that's why it was good spike talking and offering a friendly duel, nothing at stake.

Re: Walking the Streets
Travis couldn't believe he had made the mistake on the tournament and would apologize immediately to Spike. Travis would agree to his duel knowing that if he was able to win this all though he knew that it was highly unlikely that he would. He would be ready for anything that would be thrown at him if he was able to win this. His grandparents told him that it wasn't the rarest cards in the world that won the game but the one that knew how to use the cards better. Travis knew that in a normal duel that would be true but he didn't know how he would handle the god card if spike played it. Travis knew that his only chance would be to play fast and swarm spike so that he wouldn't be able to get the monsters out. In order to sacrifice for the slipher, but that would mean that he would have to get a pretty good hand.
Travis would step back and get ready to duel. Sliding his duel disk and placing his cards in the slot. He really wanted to win this game but he couldn't let his feelings mess with his head not in this duel.

i will be back on tonight around 9 probably if you want to duel then)

Re: Walking the Streets
Seeing his Arm raise, Spike would raise his arm as well, and slide his deck into place and said to the kid "Alright, lets Duel, Remember this is for fun, nothing at stake" Spike smiled and waited to see who would move first

Re: Walking the Streets
Travis watched as Spike put his cards in his deck slot. He knew that this would be a hard duel to win. Travis started the game and lost to Spike in the game to see who goes first. With Spike choosing to go first. Travis was on the defense the hole game, and didn't even get to deal any damage to Spike. He figured that it would probably end like this. By the end of the game with Spike being a normal competitor in tournaments and all. Travis didn't expect to see the card that Spike used to finish the game though. The Black Chaos Magician the most powerful card travis had ever seen. He thought that it was a privileged to just see a card that powerful in use even if it was against him. With the Black Chaos Magician finishing the duel with the final strike.
Travis would pick his cards up with a loss, but he felt as if he had learned some things from this game. Like what he would be expecting from the tournament to come. He would walk over after putting his cards in his deck pouch, and offer a hand shake to Spike to show that he admitted that Spike was the stronger duelist. He would then make a promise to himself that he would get strong enough to face Spike on equal grounds the next time they dueled.
