Millennium Item List
Millenium Items
Millennium Items are the seven treasures created from an ancient spell found in the Millennium Spellbook in order to keep the ancient magic of the Shadow Games locked up forever. The Millennium Stone in the village of Kul Elna is the origin and resting place of the seven items, and also where Arkhenaden sacrificed ninety-nine human souls in order to create them.
How does one acquire a Millenium Item?
In order to claim a Millennium Item, you must be lucky enough to come into contact with the canon character who owned the item during the series. A list of who has the item, how the item is applied during roleplay and how to obtain it from the character.
Millennium Puzzle: The holder of the Millennium Puzzle will be afflicted with a dual-personality, sharing their mind with Pharaoh Atem. Any card packs purchased by an owner of this item receive one extra card as a result. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Yugi Moto in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Yugi Moto, or his Puzzle. Once the puzzle has been claimed, only a random Secret Rare card will be yielded from Yugi's defeat.
Millennium Eye: The holder of the Millennium Eye allows the owner to read other peoples minds during any In-Character roleplay scenario. In addition to that, it allows the user to identify the real reasons behind someones motives or intentions. This pseudo-effect is unavoidable by other roleplayers, and is considered a minor form of mind invasion. Once per duel, the owner of this tool may request to know of a card in their enemy's hand, and the enemy must abide by this rule. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Maximillion Pegasus in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Pegasus, or his Eye. Once the eye has been claimed, only a random Secret Rare Card will be yielded from Pegasus` defeat.
Millennium Ring: The owner of the Millennium Ring becomes afflicted with a dual-personality, similar to the Puzzle. However, this other personality is Chaotic-Evil in nature, and is often associated with crime. The ring allows the owner to have a greater chance than the average duelist to have a Special Encounter happen to them during random roleplay scenarios. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Yami Bakura in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Bakura, or his Ring. Once the ring has been claimed, only a random Secret Rare card will be yielded from Bakura's defeat.
Millennium Scale: The owner of the Millennium Scale allows the owner to banish the soul of a duelist they have defeated, as long as the duel had taken place in the Shadow Realm. Additionally, once every 30 days, the user can activate the hidden power of the Scale and materialize a Polymerization card. This is limited to once every 30 days. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Shadi in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Shadi, his Key or his Scale. Once the scale has been claimed, only a random Secret Rare card will be yielded from Shadi's defeat.
Millennium Key: The owner of the Millennium Key allows the owner to enter the mind of another roleplayer. The roleplayer must allow this to happen, although any memories and things of that nature are left untouched and cannot be altered or erased. They can only be watched or replayed. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Shadi in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Shadi, his Key or his Scale. Once the key has been claimed, only a random Secret Rare card will be yielded from Shadi's defeat.
Millennium Rod: The owner of the Millennium Rod allows the owner to control the actions of others, as long as that action does not involve suicide, destruction of cards, or anything negatively impacting either character's history or personality. Using this power, once per duel, the user can activate the Rod's power and force the enemy to play a card of their choosing from their opponents hand. If the card is a trap, it must be set. A spell must be activated. A monster must be summoned. If there are no cards playable, this effect is negated. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Marik Ishtar in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Marik, or his Rod. Once the rod as been claimed, only a random Secret Rare card will be yielded from Marik's defeat.
Millennium Necklace: The owner of Millennium Necklace allows them to see into the past, up to a maximum of 30 days ago. Anything RP-affecting that has happened within the period of the last 30 days, (duelists acquiring cards, duelist defeats/victories, card materialization, etc), the user of necklace is now aware of and knows to be true. A duelist may obtain this item by defeating Ishizu Ishtar in a Special Encounter duel. Upon victory, the winner can choose either a random Secret Rare card from Ishizu, or her Necklace. Once the necklace has been claimed, only a random Secret Rare card will be yielded from Ishizu's defeat.
