"Countering Cueball"
Sameonna would have sent out an email earlier that morning, to one of her more selectively inherent duelists, an individual she came across after the United Duelist Corporation had decided that his time under their generous hospitality was at an end, and attempted to exile him through murder. It was at that time in the past that Sameonna and this man, Kozai, would have dueled. Sameonna came to recognize Kozai for his unique strategic planning, and his ability to flawlessly execute coordinated strategies with his deck, but, ultimately, he was overwhelmed nearing the end of the duel, Sameonna bringing forth Obelisk the Tormentor and wiping out the rest of his Life Points. This was not the end for Kozai, however, Sameonna felt. To her, and hopefully to him on her behalf, this was a revelation, an advent point in his life in which he can rebirth himself into a new weapon of destruction, pledging his loyalty to an organization that would undoubtedly repay the kindness when called upon to do so.
The email she sent him would reach him as a Code 2 Alert on his Rare Hunter Duel Disc, which sounded off a discreet but noticeable ping frequency, and would tell him that Sameonna was summoning him. A built in feature of this unique property, designed and installed by Sameonna herself, was a location-based vibration tracker, which shook the duel disc violently when the Rare Hunter would face in the direction Sameonna was in, allowing them to find her easily. However, she built a firewall program which would effectively disable anyone trying to reroute the program or hack into it to steal files or utilize it on their own behalf. Upon opening the email, it would read that she has requested his presence, and he is to arrive as soon as possible.
Already at the dueling arena, Cueball was awaiting his soon-to-be rival. Countering Cueball was his name, and trap cards were his game, as the name would have suggested initially. Sameonna placed a higher amount of confidence in Cueball, as he hadn't lost a duel under her command yet, and she was excited to say the least about the possible outcome of this duel. Kozai could succeed and beat one of her best lieutenants, earning himself a pretty badass card, or, Kozai could lose and be forced to give up one of his own. Although the stakes were relatively high, the reward was worth much more than the risk if fate would have dealt the cards necessary to destroy Cueball and allow Kozai to take his place at Sameonna's side, alongside her commanding officer, Spike King.

Re: "Countering Cueball"
Kozai was, at that moment, sitting in his living room, reading a book on probability. Sure, he knew all this stuff already, but did it hurt to review? Not really. At that moment, he had just lost a casual dual due to sheer bad luck... "random number generation", in the case of games like these. As much as he loved the game, he had to admit that it wasn't exactly a hundred percent skill. Oh well; it wasn't something to complain about, really. The luck based aspect of the game was what gave a little excitement every time. Besides... he knew that there were combinations that would allow him to bypass a majority of the randomness. All he had to do was acquire the right cards...
At that moment, his duel disk vibrated with the message. The duel arena? Very well. Kozai stood up, already dressed somewhat, put on his blue blazer and red tie, and headed out with his duel disk. He didn't live that far away, and got there in under five minutes. Well, naturally, he paid for a discreet taxi, but it was efficient enough for him. Stepping out, his dramatic hair and piercing, analyzing eyes seeming to flash, he would step into the building.
In the arena, he found himself face to face with some jerk. Ah... a duel?
"I understand. Very well, then."

Re: "Countering Cueball"
It was at this point the final blow would have been dealt, and surprisingly, it had been Kozai who caught his last wind. Sameonna would walk from nearby shadows, having spectated the entire match, and she would be clapping, quite impressed with the spectacle before her. "Yes, yes. Cueball, you've done quite well, thank you for your service. You may give me your deck. Much more so than that imbecile, Oracle. Carry on with whatever other duties call upon your wonderful skills." She would wave, formally dismissing Cueball, who would nod and exit the Duel Arena accordingly, after throwing Sameonna a deckbox filled with cards.
Sameonna would spend some time scanning through it, and selecting specific cards that would be given to Kozai for his victory. She felt as though he deserved more than the average duelist, especially because he had defeated one of her best counter duelists. Walking toward him, she'd boast of his strategies. "You impressed me, Kozai. It is no wonder that Cueball fell to your strategy, and I must say that although you have the dedication and the balls it takes to be a Rare Hunter, you do not have the power." She would hold out the aforementioned selected cards from Cueball's deck, and await Kozai's grasp to receive them.
Sameonna would smile, still, her arm held in the air like a tree branch waiting to be swayed by an unknown force, foreign, yet so familiar in its whispering misery. "I intend to make sure that you have the power to do all you want, and more." She'd then loosen her grip on the cards, allowing them to pass into the waiting hands of Kozai once he had been prepared enough to catch and look through them. Sameonna was quite sure he'd be delighted with what he had received.
Cards Given to Kozai: Maju Garzett, Great Maju Garzett, Legendary Maju Garzett, Helpoemer, Makyura the Destructor, Renge, Gatekeeper of the Darkworld, Opticlops, Gemini Imps, Event Roll: Silent Doom
